"Needs Work"

The Good:
Game concept is decent and, believe it or don't, there is a level of logic to be employed in this game. Most of this logic is in how you decide to rotate the rows. It is often more advantageous to change out the center row when the middle square is empty or contains a skull than to change out a side row that has two skulls unless this puts you in danger. I made it as far as level 11 as of the writing of this review.

The Bad:
Becomes unbeatable as you level higher outside of random and outrageous luck. Starting on level 8 it is not uncommon to encounter numerous skulls in sequence (I got 5 sequential rows at one point). The star groups don't increase your winning status, nor does the bonus level, they're just points. There is, regrettably, no possible way to avoid getting a line of skulls.

The Glitches:
There is a glitch that sometimes occurs where the center square, if you move the star off of it, will not accept other stars in it's empty star slot until it has been switched out after the first move. Also, there are times that a diagonal line of skulls will negate and register as negative points, and other times where it will not be removed from the board at all, as though a diagonal line of skulls isn't detrimental.

Very nice, unique game. I do say that level 68 was a low blow, that's supposed to be the symbol for musical copyright, and I tried every synonym under the sun for music, copyright, and the symbols. Eventually I had to cheat.

In any case, well done, I like it.

I liked it. Nice and challenging, just the way I like it. Eventually , though, you start to develop a system and it starts getting easier. In the end I was able to last 28:35 minutes on the last level, the screen was smothered with cannons and ballistas and It was running about 1 frame per second, wow!

Mountains' Flowers

"More Constructive Criticism"

submission: Mountains' Flowers

Ok, despite how much this song makes my ears bleed. The previous reviewer is simply throwing insults towards someone who put forth effort to create this song.

K, Jakob. This piece needs work. It suffers from a lack of variety, has no definable structure or dimension to it, and would be found lacking even by House techno standards. Switch things up more. Giving the listener something more to listen to than a repeated recording of 'Yes' and a monotonous background melody. Put a melody in there, insert some enthusiasm, and maybe give each sound you put in there a spotlight at some point or another.

Do this and you'll at least see something better. I can't guarantee that it'll get better than a 2 or 3 rating, but it will be better than this.

Even with the beat, I think this one would be better labeled as an Ambient song. But I like it. Good work on a very atmospheric piece.

It'll Be Okay

"Pretty good until..."

I thought it was rather nice. Nice and soothing. Right until the end when I heard the static. It doesn't fit the song, and makes my ears hurt. If you're looking to remind the listener of an astronaut in space, use a deeper, gentler kind of static that's more reminiscent of that steady crackle we would hear in NASA communications or the like.
